News from the Murialdine Sisters

Brazil Assembly

From 9 to 16 January 2016, the sisters gathered at Fazenda Souza (Caxias do Sul) Fr. Schiavo Community Centre, to reflect on the Holy Year of Mercy, assess the progress done and plan the new pastoral and apostolic year.

All were invited to intensify the Merciful Love and, for this to become a reality, it is necessary to open heart sand minds to welcome what is new and give more concrete answers in our lives.

Moreover, the different teams met to discuss the patterns that we need to break and the practical steps we need to do at the personal and community level.

They were moments rich with sharing, communication and exchange of experiences that allowed, in addition to the fact of creating more proximity among the sisters, to walk towards a shared horizon for a new configuration that best meets the needs of the pastoral and apostolic realities of our Murialdine mission.

Mexico – Spiritual Exercises and Assembly

The beginning of the new year is the appropriate time to meet, to come together at the assembly and participate in the Spiritual Exercises.

This year too we gathered together at Aguascalientes, formees and sisters, and experienced intense days of prayer, reflection, meditation on the theme of Mercy and the infinite love of God to each of us. The assembly day then us the opportunity to do the assessment of the progress of the past year and direct our gaze to the future that awaits us.

The Spiritual Exercises were guided briskly and wisely by Sister Terezinha Militz, vicar general and superior of the community of Aguascalientes.

We thank the Lord for these really beautiful and spiritually fruitful days.

Fr Fidel in India!

After some troubles to get his visa, finally Fr Fidel Antón, General Councillor responsible for Formation, came to visit our Delegation of India (with many photocopies in his suitcase!), though just for few days and postponing his calendar! Anyway the agenda was very busy: 2 days with the 5 novices at Chembaraky; 2 days with the 13 Philosophers; 2 days for the 11 brothers living or preparing their Pastoral Training, always at Chembaraky; 2 days with the 29 minors seminarians in Aroor, 3 days with the 7 Theologians in Aranvoyalkuppam, 1 day with the Delegation Council. In spite of the full program, Fr Fidel enjoyed also the opportunity to appreciate something of Indian culture, by visiting some places, meeting activities and children and tasting some hot chilli and other delicious spices! Thank you, Fr Fidel! Come again!

Please, enjoy some beautiful photos!

40 ANNI DI AGeSC: incontro con Papa Francesco

This article is available in Italian

Roma 5 dicembre 2015
