We, the brothers of St. Joseph, have, in our glorious patron, a very expert master of Novitiate. He was the head of that family, in which Jesus possessed by prayer and practice the most sublime virtues for apostolic career. It can indeed be said that the home of Nazareth was nothing but a long and strict novitiate, and that St. Joseph was its Master in the whole thirty years that it lasted.
