IL PROGETTO EDUCATIVO PASTORALE DELL'ISTITUTO MURIALDO, VILLA BOSCH

Quest'anno il progetto educativo pastorale dell'Istituto Murialdo, di Villa Bosch, Argentina, ha affrontato una grande sfida, ma come direbbe il nostro Santo Fondatore: “A nuovi bisogni, nuove opere”

Educare nella pandemia

In questo senso, abbiamo riconvertito in ambiente virtuale tutte le nostre azioni pedagogiche, e per questo, abbiamo utilizzato diverse piattaforme e dispositivi tecnologici che ci hanno permesso di affrontare il compito con ottimi risultati. Gli insegnanti hanno fatto un grande sforzo di formazione per l'uso di questi strumenti. Il primo obiettivo è stato quello di universalizzare il progetto per consentire a ciascuno dei nostri studenti e insegnanti di avere accesso a questa nuova realtà virtuale. Una volta lì, la nuova sfida era umanizzare la proposta. Il nostro lavoro è stato caratterizzato per anni dal clima familiare, dall'impegno di solidarietà della comunità e dall'attenzione personale di ciascuno dei suoi studenti. In questo senso si è iniziato a promuovere azioni pastorali attraverso incontri virtuali di riflessione e azione con docenti, studenti e famiglie; incontri che ci hanno permesso di conoscere in modo più personale le diverse realtà che la società vive in questo presente inaspettato per poterle agire, e in questo modo aiutare a superare le difficoltà. Essere empatici con la nostra comunità è stata la premessa e il sentimento di essere tutti noi "sulla stessa barca" come ha sottolineato il nostro caro Papa Francesco, il nostro punto di partenza. In questo pellegrinaggio abbiamo osservato tanti atteggiamenti personali carichi di solidarietà e di grande impegno educativo da parte dell'intera comunità. Inoltre, fedeli al nostro carisma, abbiamo potuto assistere le famiglie più svantaggiate e essere fondamentalmente vicini a tutti coloro che erano più vulnerabili. In questo modo abbiamo gradualmente trovato un senso nel nostro cammino, rendendo vivo il motto che quest'anno abbiamo sollevato "in te siamo per gli altri". Infine e con fiduciosa speranza per il futuro, potremmo concludere che la pandemia è stata un'ottima occasione per osservare la realtà da un'altra prospettiva, più umana, che continua a mostrarci quell'amore infinito, eterno e misericordioso di Dio di cui ci parlava San Leonardo è ancora presente e più vivo che mai tra noi.

Together the Murialdine Schools Open Their Doors to the Civilization of Love

The start of a new school year always brings with it a special burst of energy, joy, and deep hope. This September, in countless schools and educational centers across the Murialdina network around the world—from Europe to Latin America, and to communities on the African continent such as Ghana and Nigeria— the bell rings once again . From classrooms in Italy to those in Quito and Ambato, Ecuador, to centers in Spain and all the institutions resuming classes in these weeks, thousands of students, teachers, and educators are coming together to embark on a new shared journey. The true value of this moment lies in the power of concrete collaboration. None of our schools walks alone: each one is a vital node in a single, large global organism that draws its strength from the charismatic pedagogy of the Congregation of St. Joseph and the legacy of St. Leonard Murialdo. Working together allows us to transcend geographical boundaries, share best practices, and cultivate everywhere a welcoming “family spirit” where every student feels valued, heard, and supported. In the Murialdian vision, educational and professional excellence always goes hand in hand with human and spiritual care. This richness is also reflected in the beauty of the world’s diverse rhythms: while in many countries classes resume in September, in other nations of the Southern Hemisphere—such as Brazil, Argentina, or Chile—the school year follows the calendar year, beginning at the start of the year. This diversity of times and seasons ensures an ideal continuity of prayer, educational commitment, and presence alongside young people throughout all twelve months, at any latitude. Starting anew today means renewing our shared commitment: “to educate hearts in order to foster the Civilization of Love.” In a rapidly changing global context, our challenge remains to form Christian citizens who are aware and compassionate, capable of building the future with responsibility and hope. To all the students, families, teachers, and the entire community of the great Murialdina Family, we extend our warmest wishes for a school year full of discoveries and achievements attained together.

International Meeting of Josephite Formators

Under the coordination of General Councilor Fr. Jacob Yeboah (C.S.J.), formators from Brazil (Fr. Geraldo Canever, Fr. Elves Bessa), the Central Delegation (Fr. Maximo Mantija, Fr. Shine John), Ecuador/Colombia (Fr. Julio Cesar Hernandez), the African Vice-Province (Fr. Arnaud Aniou), and India (Fr. Eugine Juliyan, Fr. Soos Antony Deeman). Other formators, unable to attend in person, are following the proceedings online. The goal of the meeting is to reinvigorate the initial formation of the Josephines of Murialdo, keeping their roots firmly planted in the Charism but with the necessary openness to future developments. At the heart of the program is the update of the Josephine Formation Guidelines for the entire Congregation. To all of them we extend our sincere thanks and our best wishes for fruitful work in the serious and profound accompaniment of our candidates and aspirants to the Josephine Religious Life.
