Fourth week 4: 2026 Interprovincial Conference “From the Res Novae to the Civilization of Love”
1. Put poor young people at the center of every decision In the face of the transformations of our time, the 2026 Interprovincial Conference challenges us with a prophetic question: Are the most vulnerable and marginalized young people still our primary criterion for discernment? From San Francisco de Mostazal, Chile, a strong call emerges not to give in to corporate logic or to a mere “pastoral ministry of preservation.” Like Saint Joseph, who courageously welcomed and protected the Child Jesus, we are called to reexamine our structures to make them more flexible and responsive to the cries of young people, always placing the dignity and worth of every person above any measure of performance. 2. A transparent, fraternal, and synodal network of solidarity The charismatic journey is not undertaken alone, but as a single Murialdo Family. The Conference’s guidelines emphasize the urgency of strengthening networking and shared responsibility between religious and laypeople, overcoming personal agendas and provincial isolation. Through transparency in the management of assets, the implementation of the Economic-Charismatic Pact, and participatory planning, solidarity ceases to be a collection of fragmented interventions and becomes a concrete and sustainable evangelical witness over time. 3. Formation, Internationality, and New Digital Courtyards Living in the present requires a formation capable of “humanizing,” integrating the wisdom of the Word with the human sciences and the closeness of the Good Samaritan. The richness of internationality and mobility among Provinces impels us to view the entire Congregation as a single horizon of mission. This same prophetic impulse calls us today to inhabit the “new digital courtyards” with a unified identity, spreading the Gospel and our charism through communication channels to continue building, together with young people, the Civilization of Love.

Third week: "El Capítulo XXIV nos interpela, nos urge y nos envía"
SAN FRANCISCO DE MOSTAZAL (CHILE) – Murialdo Month continues in Chile, where the Murialdo Family continues to experience moments of deep reflection, communion, and charismatic renewal. During this week, from October 19 to 23, attention has been focused in particular on the Josephine Religious of Murialdo, who are called to allow themselves to be challenged and guided by the theme: “Chapter XXIV challenges us, urges us, and sends us forth.” The intensive program of reflection touched on fundamental aspects of the Congregation’s life and mission, through presentations dedicated to “Consecrated Life Today, a Visible Sign of Hope”, to Murialdo’s admonition “ ‘Let them not be lost: we too,’" and the ever-present question: "Does the cry of young people still pain us?" The confreres also discussed pressing pastoral and educational issues, such as “The culture of care,” the courageous choice between “Saving hearts or sustaining structures” and the fundamental shift “From administrators to fathers.” To cap off this journey of fraternity, there were also community visits to the ministries in Requínoa and Valparaíso, places where the Murialdo charism continues to be embodied in service to young people and the local Church.

Week Two: "Hope That Transforms: Young People in the Service of Life"
SAN FRANCISCO DE MOSTAZAL (CHILE) – During this Murialdo Month, our attention turns to Chile, where the Murialdo Family is coming together to experience days filled with formation, fellowship, and service. During this week, October 12–16, various educators from our schools, reception services, and social ministries are gathering and walking alongside young people from different Murialdo communities around the world, guided by the Murialdo Youth and Vocational Ministry. This year’s theme, “Hope That Transforms: Young People in the Service of Life,” calls us back to the heart of our mission: to be instruments of hope and promoters of life for young people. A central part of this journey is the visit to the religious community of Requínoa and the San José High School, places where the Murialdian charism continues to serve as a guiding light for the education and human and spiritual growth of the younger generations.
