I Giuseppini da 25 anni in Parrocchia - Modena

Venerdì 12 giugno 2026 la Parrocchia di Sant'Antonio di Padova a Modena ha ricordato un anniversario importante: 25 anni della cura pastorale affidata ai Giuseppini del Murialdo.

La Santa Messa è stata concelebrata dai tre Parroci (d. Giuseppe Menzato, d. Gianni Tescaro, d. Pietro Rota) di questi ultimi 25 anni, cioè da quando nel 2001 i Giuseppini del Murialdo, presenti in città dal 1899 nel vicino Istituto Sacro Cuore, sono subentrati ai Frati Minori. 25 anni di vita parrocchiale, animata secondo il carisma di San Leonardo Murialdo, hanno caratterizzato un percorso di crescita nella fede che ha segnato il volto della nostra Comunità.

I Parroci, affiancati dai Padri del Sacro Cuore, durante l’omelia hanno ricordato momenti significativi del loro essere stati con noi e ci hanno invitato a guardare avanti, a non fermarci ai ricordi, ma a impegnarci a costruire per il futuro. Si avvertiva la commozione di tutti a ripensare ai legami, ai progetti, alle esperienze vissute con loro come famiglia parrocchiale e allo slancio che ci viene richiesto di vivere con serenità il presente e di proiettarci nel futuro della Chiesa. Tanta la preghiera resa più intensa dai canti, curati dal coro, capace di trascinare l'assemblea dei fedeli.

Durante e dopo la cena, grande è stata la gioia di tutti per aver potuto parlare con d. Giuseppe e d. Gianni: sembrava che il tempo si fosse fermato, perché i legami d'affetto con loro sono ancora molto saldi.

Tanti hanno indossato la maglietta azzurra creata per l'occasione con la scritta: Leonardo Murialdo 25 anni con noi.

La festa dell'anniversario è stata inserita nella tre-giorni di festa, con annessa Sagra, del Patrono Sant'Antonio. Il secondo giorno, memoria di S. Antonio di Padova, è stato caratterizzato dalla presenza del nostro Vescovo Erio Castellucci con la significativa accoglienza di 18 scout (13 lupetti e 5 capi) provenienti da Taybeh, un paese della Palestina con gli abitanti quasi tutti cristiani.
Gli scout palestinesi, con il coordinamento del nostro gruppo scout MO2 e di altre associazioni, si sono poi fermati a Modena per un mese, ospitati in famiglie. Il terzo giorno si è concluso con la presenza del Padre Provinciale, che è stato in mezzo a noi con una bella e sincera familiarità.

Preghiamo il Signore perché continui ad aiutarci a "fare il bene e farlo bene" e ad "essere una ben unita famiglia", sapendo che "siamo nelle mani di Dio e siamo in buone mani".

Together the Murialdine Schools Open Their Doors to the Civilization of Love

The start of a new school year always brings with it a special burst of energy, joy, and deep hope. This September, in countless schools and educational centers across the Murialdina network around the world—from Europe to Latin America, and to communities on the African continent such as Ghana and Nigeria— the bell rings once again . From classrooms in Italy to those in Quito and Ambato, Ecuador, to centers in Spain and all the institutions resuming classes in these weeks, thousands of students, teachers, and educators are coming together to embark on a new shared journey. The true value of this moment lies in the power of concrete collaboration. None of our schools walks alone: each one is a vital node in a single, large global organism that draws its strength from the charismatic pedagogy of the Congregation of St. Joseph and the legacy of St. Leonard Murialdo. Working together allows us to transcend geographical boundaries, share best practices, and cultivate everywhere a welcoming “family spirit” where every student feels valued, heard, and supported. In the Murialdian vision, educational and professional excellence always goes hand in hand with human and spiritual care. This richness is also reflected in the beauty of the world’s diverse rhythms: while in many countries classes resume in September, in other nations of the Southern Hemisphere—such as Brazil, Argentina, or Chile—the school year follows the calendar year, beginning at the start of the year. This diversity of times and seasons ensures an ideal continuity of prayer, educational commitment, and presence alongside young people throughout all twelve months, at any latitude. Starting anew today means renewing our shared commitment: “to educate hearts in order to foster the Civilization of Love.” In a rapidly changing global context, our challenge remains to form Christian citizens who are aware and compassionate, capable of building the future with responsibility and hope. To all the students, families, teachers, and the entire community of the great Murialdina Family, we extend our warmest wishes for a school year full of discoveries and achievements attained together.

International Meeting of Josephite Formators

Under the coordination of General Councilor Fr. Jacob Yeboah (C.S.J.), formators from Brazil (Fr. Geraldo Canever, Fr. Elves Bessa), the Central Delegation (Fr. Maximo Mantija, Fr. Shine John), Ecuador/Colombia (Fr. Julio Cesar Hernandez), the African Vice-Province (Fr. Arnaud Aniou), and India (Fr. Eugine Juliyan, Fr. Soos Antony Deeman). Other formators, unable to attend in person, are following the proceedings online. The goal of the meeting is to reinvigorate the initial formation of the Josephines of Murialdo, keeping their roots firmly planted in the Charism but with the necessary openness to future developments. At the heart of the program is the update of the Josephine Formation Guidelines for the entire Congregation. To all of them we extend our sincere thanks and our best wishes for fruitful work in the serious and profound accompaniment of our candidates and aspirants to the Josephine Religious Life.
