Inaugurazione della nuova struttura sportiva dell'Oratorio Murialdo di Milano

La Storia insegna che la caduta di un Muro può aprire una nuova epoca.
Qualcosa del genere sta avvenendo anche da noi, con l'abbattimento della vecchia recinzione sulla Via Inganni, che non ha solo una conseguenza estetica con un nuovo e piacevole effetto visivo, ma significa un'apertura verso l'esterno, a differenza dell'attuale collocazione dell'edificio della nostra chiesa e delle sue strutture parrocchiali, completamente orientate verso il più raccolto Largo Fatima, dove sviluppano gran parte delle abitazioni di questo territorio. È l'inaugurazione di un'apertura che non ha quindi solo un significato fisico, come è emerso nella giornata di domenica 23 maggio, nel contesto dei festeggiamenti della Settimana di San Leonardo Murialdo, dove è stato messo un sigillo sui cambiamenti in atto. Già la mattina, durante la solenne celebrazione della messa all'aperto, il Padre Provinciale, Don Antonio (Tony) Fabris, in un'omelia bella, semplice ma piena di contenuti, ha ricordato ai giovani nella giornata della Pentecoste come tutti loro siano portatori di valori unici, che rendono ognuno irripetibile nel suo genere: un viatico e un invito a partecipare, all'impegno ne cambiamento. Una responsabilità e una sfida che spettano, frutto della volontà di un idealista sognatore, il nostro Parroco Padre Vincenzo, che si è buttato in quello che sembrava impossibile: realizzare, un centro sportivo moderno, bello ed efficiente, che potesse coinvolgere giovani e adulti, con un'intuizione di fare dello sport un metodo educativo, un'occasione di crescita morale cristiana. Questo è stato possibile grazie anche all'aiuto di numerosi laici e parrocchiani che si sono spesi in prima persona per la realizzazione di questo progetto.
Certo, la Provvidenza deve essersi data parecchio da fare, ma il sogno è diventato realtà. Stupisce piacevolmente come, in questa circostanza, vi sia stata la convergenza di sforzi da parte di realtà ed entità diverse, religiose, civili, istituzioni benefiche con la nostra comunità, che ha dimostrato di saper ben reggere il confronto con le altre istituzioni. Il Murialdo ci ha insegnato che con l'apertura di un oratorio si chiude una prigione, a significare che solo con luoghi di aggregazione si può pensare di educare, di creare buoni cittadini, in una società che accompagni le nuove generazioni verso il loro futuro con un progetto educativo, tramite una forma importante di aggregazione qual è quella sportiva. Tanti i giovani presenti, i veri protagonisti di questa nuova stagione che stiamo vivendo, quanti forse da tempo non se ne vedevano e che fanno capire che si è sulla strada giusta. Quindi non solo un'inaugurazione, col nastro tricolore, ma l'inizio di una sfida, di un rinnovato impegno verso i giovani che sono il futuro, nostro e della nostra società, verso i quali abbiamo le responsabilità educative che sono un investimento per il futuro. Nella scia del più autentico carisma di San Leonardo Murialdo.

MOVIMUR 2026: The Murialdine Schools Network Meets in Porto Alegre
Promoting meetings among young leaders from Murialdo schools is an extraordinary asset for our social and educational work: it enhances networking, encourages the exchange of experiences among students, and strengthens the sense of belonging to a large global family. It was precisely in this spirit that MOVIMUR took place—the annual gathering of student and youth movements within the Murialdo Education Network in Brazil, an event that brings together young people from different schools to experience moments of integration, spirituality, leadership, and sharing. The 7th edition of the event was held in Porto Alegre (Brazil) on September 18 and 19, 2026, hosted at the Colégio Murialdo in Porto Alegre. This year’s event had as its theme “Leadership and Hospitality” and as its motto the Gospel verse “He came to dwell among us” (John 1:14). Along with educational and spiritual activities, the gathering promoted concrete acts of solidarity, such as the traditional fundraising and donation drive for the “Projeto Morro da Cruz,” in support of local communities. At the conclusion of the event, the location of the 8th edition (2027) was announced; it will be hosted by the school of Ana Rech in Caxias do Sul.
